ESTABLISHMENT OF A FOREIGN-INVESTED ENTERPRISE IN VIETNAM: ESTABLISHING FOREIGN-INVESTED HOSPITALS IN VIETNAM
In recent years, the demand for access to high-quality healthcare services among Vietnamese citizens as well as the expatriate community living in major urban areas has been rising rapidly. The development of the private healthcare system, combined with policies encouraging the socialization of healthcare, has made Vietnam a highly potential market for foreign-invested general and specialized hospital models.
This is also a sector receiving special attention from international healthcare corporations, investment funds, and experienced medical organizations. However, medical examination and treatment is a conditional business line with particularly strict requirements directly related to human health and life. To establish and officially bring a foreign-invested hospital into operation, investors need to accurately determine the scope of services, market access conditions, minimum investment capital requirements, and complex legal procedures.
In the article below, Dai Quang Minh Consulting will analyze in detail the market access conditions, capital requirements, and procedures for establishing foreign-invested hospitals in Vietnam under current regulations.
